Great House Farm is situated mid-way between Chepstow and Usk in South-East Wales, about 200m above sea level and twelve km from the sea. Our herd of beautiful pedigree Highland Cattle (known as a "Fold") are kept primarily for their excellent beef and are kept as naturally as possible in small family groups, outdoors all year round.
All of our cattle are well-used to human contact and are halter-trained as calves for ease of handling. We also sell young female cattle for breeding and to show - as well as doing a little showing ourselves, just for fun. During the past Summer, we've had successes at the Bath & West Show, the Royal Welsh Show, Chepstow, St Mellons, Monmouth and Usk Shows, as well as exhibiting beef animals at the National Beef Association "Beef Expo South-West" in Exeter.
